Well done Southern Railway. You've actually acted on the feedback to fix the previously unusable, unstable and infuriating app. This latest update seems to fix most of the problems with the old app. The new UI is better in every way - cleaner, simpler and more intuitive. There are still some lag issues when adding key smart card tickets but at least the app no longer crashes constantly. Nice work dev team.

A useful app for booking tickets. It could however do with an order review page before you press pay. Also needing to detail which train you are likely to catch coming back, is off-p utting for new users as you don't actually have to catch that train.

Southern app is better than Southern Railway app. It is updated to be more user-friendly and easy to navigate for buying tickets for train travel. Southern is highly recommended as a train travel app.👍🏿👍🏿

Oh my goodness, I this app is dreadful! I sign in but between searching for a ticket and buying it, it logs me out. When I enter my details, it flags an existing account and won't let me progress. I order my train tickets through the website and try to access the ticket wallet, it crashes the app. This happens on both my personal Samsung phone and my work iPhone. It seems fairly pointless to continue using the app if it doesn't have the ticket wallet function working. Please fix this issue.

Buying tickets was easy but if I try and open them in app to then transfer to my wallet the whole thing crashes and closes.

Looks like it was made in infant school. What a joke this app is. You can not add any et if using android. I will stick to paper tickets as Southern rail app is not fit for purpose.
